POP CHOCOLAT

Gu.Vo mihoとDr.Vo natsukoによって2000年に京都にて結成されたガールズバンド。
メンバー全員がボーカルという珍しい編成で、オルタナロックサウンドに、”はんなり”コーラスが四方から放たれる独特の世界観を持つ。
2005年「代沢レコード」より 1st mini album『虹色ファルセット』をリリース。翌年2006年、2nd mini album『リズム』をリリースを機に上京。
何度かのメンバーチェンジを経て、かねてよりサポートをつとめていたBa.Vo michiko(ex.the★magicians)とKey.Vo shiho（Hermann H. & The Pacemakers）が正式加入。
2010年3月にthe pillows の山中さわおが代表を務める「DELICIOUS LABEL」よりmini album『Trip』をリリース。
同年5月には「DELICIOUS LABEL」メンバーと共に、初のアメリカツアーへ。
2011年1月にBa.Vo michikoが脱退。
以降、サポートメンバーを迎え、活動を続けている。

POP CHOCOLAT is a Japanese girlie band from Kyoto.
Led by guitaristsingersongwriter MIHO and drummersingersongwriter NATSUKO they started performing around KYOTO and OSAKA in 2000.
In 2002 they were joined by bassistsinger AIKA and their debut album "NIJIIRO FALSETTO" was released on the "DAIZAWA" label in 2005.
After moving to Tokyo in 2006 they released their 2nd mini album "Rhythm" which met a favorable reception.
AIKA left the band in February 2007 and POP CHOCOLAT continued working with their other supporting musicians MICHIKO and SHIHO.
In November 2007 MICHIKO became their regular bassistsinger and in February 2010 SHIHO became their regular keyboardistsinger.
The four of them are currently performing.
Their mini album "Trip" released on the "DELICIOUS LABEL" on March 10th 2010 was produced by Sawao Yamanaka the vocalistguitarist from Japanese rock band "the pillows".
