Poetry 'n Lotion (PnL) is a instrumental fusion quintet out of Tampa, FL. Over the years the band has gone through several lineup changes while developing their unique sound of southern instrumental fusion along the way. The band currently consists of Kenny Pullin on Trumpet & Effects, Alex Fedele on Trombone & Percussion, Matt E Lee on guitar & synthesizers, Thomas Murray on bass and John Nowicki on Drums. PnL has kept themselves busy since Kenny joined the band in late 2010 - performing 3 classic albums in their entirety, playing an official SXSW showcase, headlining Tampa Tribune's Friday Extra Concert Series at Curtis Hixon Park, a closing set at the 30th Annual Tropical Heatwave.all the while, the foursome has been busy writing and crafting their unique blend of instrumental fusion. What began back in 2006 as a whiskey-swilling acoustic trio has now evolved into a no-nonsense eclectic trumpet-led assault of progressive instrumentalism.
