In 1986 in the hip hop documentary “Big Fun In A Big Town” Russell Simmons made

his opinion on European hip hop known to the world by calling it garbage. In all

honesty, we couldn’t blame him for making that statement at that point in time; Europe

was young and still learning the culture and formula for true Hip Hop. It was the very

same year that a 6 year old child in The Netherlands, who the world will soon come to

know as P. Moody, got his first taste of this incredible music art form known to the

world as Hip Hop. Now two decades later P. Moody could possibly be the answer that

Europe has been waiting for. An MC so nice with his, that industry peers like Dj Kay

Slay, Redman and even Kanye West say that he could possibly be the hottest MC in

Europe, but who is P. Moody?



Imagine the street marketability of 50 Cent combined with the vocal clarity of Jay-Z

topped off with a rebellious, but yet still humble demeanor that attracts anybody that

meets him. P. or just Moody, as some of his friends might call him, grew up getting in

and out of trouble. He says himself that if it wasn’t for Hip Hop he would have been

already dead or in jail, “so you could consider Hip Hop like my guardian angel.” With

his freshman album in the works, W.O.T.S. (Word On The Streets), you can truly hear

the diversity of P. as an artist.



All in all Moody is definitely the next hot thing to look out for coming out of Europe and

fans won’t be disappointed with what he delivers. As a pre-entrance into the industry in

early 2006 P. made it an agenda to lace numerous mix tapes from Europe’s hottest mix

tape DJ’s giving soon to be fans a taste of what is yet to come.
