Formed in Paris and Rouen (France), Playing With Fragments (ex-Dorian Gray) was born at the beginning of 2005. This quintet is composed of former members of Lifetorn, of ex-Sadako and of a member of Days Of Decline. The band moves in chaotic Hardcore where mix brutal jerked parts, dissonances and destroying mosh-parts. Some keys post-hardcore reflect the nasty and heavy environment which emerges their compositions.
In November 2006, Playing With Fragments out his first MCD 3 tracks " I' ll Watch Them Die And I' ll Smile To Them ", under the name of “Dorian Gray”, after having made the B.O of the movie “2 jours plus tard” (out 2007). The group comeback in studio to prepare his Split CD “Ocean Of Ashes” (May 2007) with three groups emerging of the French scene Illtemper, Boys 1st Time and The Art of Keeping Silent. One of the tracks of PWF will have like featuring, the two vocals of Primal Age and As We Bleed.
Playing With Fragments knew to be pointed out in shows at the time of several gigs with bands like Black Bomb A, Loftus (USA), Black My Heart (USA), Aside From A Day, Cortez, None Shall Be Saved, Days of Decline…
Now, Playing With Fragments intends to promote through its shows the exit of Split CD“Ocean Of Ashes” and envisages to play on all France like on the international scene.

Formé en Ile-de-France et Haute-Normandie,Playing With Fragments (ex-Dorian Gray) a vu le jour début 2005. Ce quintet est composé d'anciens membres de Lifetorn, d’ex-Sadako et d’un membre de Days Of Decline.
Le groupe évolue dans un Hardcore chaotique où se mélangent parties brutales saccadées, dissonances et mosh-parts destructrices. Quelques touches post-hardcore reflètent l'ambiance malsaine et pesante qui se dégage de leurs compositions
En novembre 2006, Playing With Fragments sort son premier maxi 3 titres"I'll Watch Them Die And I'll Smile To Them", sous le nom de "Dorian Gray", après avoir fait la B.O du film "2 jours plus tard" (Sortie 2007). Le groupe revient en studio pour préparer le split CD "Ocean Of Ashes" (mai 2007) avec trois groupes émergeant de la scène française Illtemper, Boys 1st Time et The Art of Keeping Silent. Un des titres de PWF aura comme featuring, les deux chanteurs respectifs de Primal Age et As We Bleed.
Playing With Fragments a su se faire remarquer scèniquement lors de plusieurs dates avec des groupes comme Black Bomb A, Loftus (USA), Black My Heart (USA), Aside From A Day, Cortez, None Shall Be Saved, Days of Decline.
Désormais Playing With Fragments compte promouvoir à travers ses shows la sortie du split "Ocean Of Ashes" et prévoit de jouer sur toute la France ainsi que sur la scène internationale.
