PLAYGROUND POLITICS started in early November 2005. The reasons for starting the label are countless. The main reason was to share ideas and become an independent label more concerned with spreading awarness then cashing in on the next fad . But it eventually evolved into building community not only with the local music scene but across the globe. It has not only allowed the sharing of ideas but given our words and actions, meaning.



CURRENT RELEASES



PPR03 We Fly Our Kites at Night, "Killing Ray Braurer" features 8 tracks including some hidden gems. These are WFOKAN's last recordings and only full length before they broke up. The CD is packaged in a gatefold cardboard sleeve featuring screenprinted artwork. This CD is $5 for USA/International.



PPR02 Mayans, "The Positions are Different, But the Patterns the Same" features 5 re-recorded tracks. Mayans play melodic epic hardcore/screamo from Rockland County, NY. The CD-R is packaged gatefold cardboard sleeve featuring spray painted and hand done artwork. This CD is $4 for USA/International.
