PLANET B. From the innovative genre blending music to the live shows its just pure energy! The Planet B duo takes you on an adrenalin pumping ride with an incredible fusion of musical styles that keeps you moving. Their sound can only be described as epic & fun! PB's music crosses many musical genres, while maintaining a sound that is clearly their own & If the innovative duo, have it their way, they want their music to hit every corner of the universe and with their innovative blend of sound, strong work ethic, amazing live show & massive internet assault, they're ready to blast off.
Planet B has been building a buzz for years, playing shows and festivals and pushing their music everywhere they can. PB is song writer, lead singer, producer Sason Bishope Parry & producer, singer/rapper, guitar player Shaun Malice Bivens, both from the San Francisco Bay Area. They both grew up listening to different styles of music and each has been involved with multiple other music projects. The "B" comes from balance and defines the fusion of hard and soft melodies, music & lyrics. Both members are exact alter egos and feed upon each others creativity and vibes like ying and yang. "We didn't want to be pigeon holed into any one particular music genre, because we like so many different styles of music, that we wanted to be able to take each song in a different direction, yet still have it be Planet B's own unique sound. We've been pushing Planet B's sound and staying true to our music for years and have done it from a street level all on our own, with no real backing or major support, just constant grinding and hard work. I've always believed in our music and we produce, play, write, perform, promote, hell we do everything ourselves! When we 1st started PB, not too many got what we were doing, mixing all these musical styles together, but I knew we were ahead of the curve, now mashup styles are everywhere. We've paid our dues tenfold, were still independent, we have an endless pit of awesome unreleased music, our live show is amazing and PB is ready to rock the world! " Says Shaun. They have finished up their new EP and looking to put it out sometime in 2013 and have several videos already out on www.youtube.com/planetbmusic, including their 2 newest videos and singles, Trampstamp & Rock Hard.
