Die Band Plain schloß sich im März 2006 zu ihrer jetzigen Formation zusammen. Vorher gab die Band unter einem anderen Namen und mit anderen Mitgliedern schon ein paar Konzerte. Nach Zwischenfällen unter den Bandmitgliedern und der Auflösung der alten Band, stand für Nils, Thorben und Leon jedoch eines fest! Sich weiter und intensiver mit der Musik zu beschäftigen. Also suchten sie ein neues Mitglied, das fortan Schlagzeug spielen sollte. Durch den Bassisten Leon lernten die zwei Gitarristen Ruben kennen und fanden in ihm den perfekten Schlagzeuger für ihre Neugründung der Band. Nach ein paar Probe Wochen gaben sie Anfang April ihr Debüt Konzert im Juca in Dieburg. Von nun an packte die Band der Ehrgeiz und sie probten, spielten einige Konzerte, darunter zum Beispiel beim Live on Stage in Weiterstadt, im Juca in Dieburg, auf Schulfesten oder in der Goldenen Krone in Darmstadt und schafften es mit Hilfe ihres Produzenten Björn Rückert im Herbst 2006 ihre Demo-Cd „Well, I like it Plain!“ im Tonstudio Wagwetz in Fränkisch-Crumbach aufzunehmen. Selbst beschreiben sie ihren Musik Stil als Alternativ-Rock, wobei die Musiker alle möglichen Einflüsse wie zum Beispiel auch Funk, Metal oder Punk, als Inspiration sehen. Die Erstellung einer Band Page, www.plain-alternative.de , Professionelle Foto Aufnahmen in einem Studio und die Anschaffung neuer Geräte verlieh der Band frischen Ehrgeiz mit ihrer Musik etwas erreichen zu wollen. Für dieses Jahr haben sich die jungen Musiker vorgenommen noch mehr Konzerte zu spielen und zum Jahresende hin eine komplette Cd aufzunehmen. The Band Plain, in their current formation, was founded in March 2006. In former times, they played some gigs with another name and with different members. But after some incidents between the members and the breakup of the old band something was clear for Nils, Thorben and Leon. Continue making music and more intensive than ever. Therefore they searched a new member who could play the drums. Through the bassist Leon, the two guitarists get to know Ruben, who fits perfectly for the role as the new drummer. After a few weeks of playing together, the band has given their debut concert in april in Dieburg at the JuCa. From this date the band has more ambitions than ever and they practise, played some gigs together, for example at the Live on Stage in Weiterstadt, at the JuCa in Dieburg, at Schoolparties or at the Goldene Krone in Darmstadt and they created, with help from their producer Björn Rückert, a Demo-Cd, “Well, I like it Plain!”, at the studio Wagwetz in Fränkisch-Crumbach. They describe their music style as Alternativ-Rock but at least they get inspirited by lots of different styles of music, for example Funk, Metal or Punk. The creation of a band page, www.plain-alternative.de, professional photo sessions in a studio and purchasing new equipment gave the four young musicians new ambitions. For the year 2007 they planned playing more gigs and for the end of the year they want to produce a complete album.
