“All Da Time” and “Boss S**t” are a few of the monikers you hear letting you know Pla-Boi is definitely in the building. Pla-Boi separates himself from other rappers with a Lyrical Arsenal and Heavy Southern Swag and has proven to be a stable figure in the rap game with aspirations to move up the ranks to become a national figure.

Pla-Boi has been a hot commodity in the Mississippi Underground Scene for more than a decade. Pla-Boi hails from Laurel, Mississippi which is located in the “Pine Belt Region” off of Interstate 59 South. To most Laurel is affectionately titled “Guttaville” and “Baby LA.” Pla-Boi’s rough upbringings in the poverty stricken neighborhoods of Southside Laurel have aided him in turning “Something Out of Nothing.”

Growing up in the South Park Village Section 8 Projects introduced Pla-Boi to the rap game as an adolescent. Pla-Boi started rapping as a mean of passing time but little did he know rapping would soon captivate his life. His lyrical parameter exceeded all his counterparts and established him as a force to be reckoned with. Many adored his lyrical skills but what brought more attention to his rapping were his stories of anguish and pain. During this same time, Pla-Boi linked with some other aspiring rappers to form the label Nicca Rigg Entertainment, which to this day he serves as President of day to day operations.

Pla-Boi eventually made appearances throughout the Nicca Rigg Entertainment Album Catalog and was featured on numerous local Artists’ music. Besides being an accomplished solo artist, Pla-Boi further branded his name with other Nicca Rigg Entertainment groups Young Playas Association (Y.P.A.) and Nicca Rigg Villians (N.R.V.).

Currently this Gutta Boy is set to release the highly anticipated “Poverty to Presidential Mixtape” hosted by the Carolina King DJ Chuck T. The “Poverty to Presidential Mixtape” hosted by DJ Chuck T comes off the heels of Pla-Boi’s locally released “Poverty to Presidential Mixtape” which generated a buzz in the southern region of Mississippi. Also on deck for Pla-Boi are Young Playas Association Album and Mixtape, followed by the Nicca Rigg Villians (NRV) Album. And let us not forget Pla-Boi’s debut album “Stone Age” will be coming soon.

Pla-Boi's thoughts on the rap game is simple; classic music needs to be heard and he is here to bring thus forth.
