Pitbulls On Crack Entertaining to some, offensive to others, the name alone could not be ignored. Formed back in early 1989, PBOC soon became a force to be reckoned with having a humorous and "not taking themselves too seriously" onstage attitude, playing cover songs that were out of character for a metal band ( Lynyrd Skynyrd, Public Enemy , U2, Neil Young.to name a few) and always keeping the music heavy and tight with a nod to the old school of hardcore. Numerous demos were recorded but playing onstage was where they always exceled, often getting to play shows with the bands that influenced them. The band had a revolving door of musicians during its time resulting in each line up change having its own sound. 1996 was when the dog was laid to rest. A reunion did occur for the 93 line up, playing a "one off" show opening for NOTA and Suicidal Tendencies closing the chapter of the band that is still talked about to this day.
