A live performance by siteLA musician in residence Pilar Diaz

As part of the ongoing programming at Quiksilver's siteLA, Quiksilver is collaborating with Gibson Musical Instruments ( http://www.gibson.com/ ) and KamranV ( http://www.cykiki.com/ ) to present "siteStage", a series of intimate live music performances that are recorded at siteLA and shared on the web.

The first siteStage event featured a live performance by Pilar Diaz, the musician in residence at Quiksilver's siteLA. Pilar, along with a back-up band that included a bassist, a violist, a trumpeter, an accordion player and a Gameboy (yes, a green Gameboy pre-programmed with back-up beats!), performed 3 original songs written in Spanish.

Future siteStage events, curated by Pilar Diaz along with the siteLA team, will feature well-known and emerging artists that reflect the spirit of the siteLA initiative and Quiksilver's new women's collection.
