Pike Station is a Blues/Rock/Soul band out of Louisiana, Missouri.

They mix several genres together like Pop, Rock, Blues and Country to make up their sound. Guitarist Ben Cordes says "Music fans today aren't like they used to be where people like only Rock or just Country. People who grew up listening to The Eagles are watching them and Bruce Springsteen on CMT And people who grew up listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd are now listening to Kid Rock who also jams with RUN DMC and Hank Williams Jr. People today are so open minded about what they like anymore, so I figure why should we limit our audience to just one style. If it's good music, they'll listen to it and they'll connect with it.

They have opened for several national touring acts such as Sara Evans, Tracy Byrd, Walter Trout, Tab Benoit (the band actually backed Benoit for a show in 2007), Larry McCray, Corey Stevens, Wayne Baker Brooks, Bernard Allison, Walt Wilkins & The Mystiqueros, Eric Sardinas, Shawn Kellerman, Albert Cummings, Michael Burks, Charlie Love & The Silky Smooth Band, Monte Montgomery, Virginia Coalition, Head East, Eddie Money, Molly Hatchet, and The Kentucky Headhunters. They were featured on KSDK News Channel 5s Summer Concert Series, and have been featured several times on 88.1FM KDHX in St. Louis, MO. Their song "The Future" from their first cd was ranked 16 on "The Best Songs of 2005" on "Medication With Pat Wolfe" on KDHX.

Guitarist, Benjamin Cordes has personally jammed on stage with Walter Trout, Larry McCray, Michael Burks, Corey Stevens, Tab Benoit, Wayne Baker Brooks, Shawn Kellerman, and Bernard Allison. Cordes says "playing with those guys on stage is better than any guitar lesson you could ever pay for."

Pike Station started when Benjamin Cordes started writing songs while in college in St. Louis. Soon enough, he had enough songs to fulfill a dream of having an original music recording. With the help of his brother Tony, cousin Jason Shireman, and his uncle Jeff Davidsmeyer, the recording sessions started and in 2004 the Pop/Rock influenced "Everything In Between" was finished.

The guys played out for a few years, and then took a break but since writing new material which according to the Cordes brothers is "a totally different direction that we took on our first cd. This album is going to be very Bluesy.

The band consists of Benjamin Cordes on guitar/vocals. Tony Cordes on drums/vocals, Sean Holland on bass guitar, and Jeff Davidsmeyer on keyboard/vocals

With the addition of former Motown saxophonist and Brainstorm leader Chuck Overton, the band is also the backing band of St. Louis Blues/Soul Legend Barbara Carr. Carr got her start on the legendary Chess Records out of Chicago, eventually releasing her own albums with her husband on the Bar-Car Label. Carr's strong voice and stage presence matched with Pike Stations full sound will blow any crowd away.
