Piero made his first step into the Italian music scene after joining Neon in 1982, one of the leading new wave groups of the 80’s, with whom cut his first three records: "My blues is you", "Dark age" and the album "Rituals".
In 1986, Piero met English singer Andi Sex Gang of the Sex Gang Children, with whom he collaborated in two records: the first one as co-songwriter and performer on a duet with Andi, “Dirty Roseanne”, and the second as piano, keyboard player and arranger, “Arco Valley” which was produced by Mick Ronson, David Bowie’s guitar player.
In 2007 Neon came back on stage again and in 2010 are still touring and preparing a new album with brand new compositions.
In 2009 Piero created a big event named Moonlight Festival, an international art, music and culture exposition about new wave, electronic and gothic rock music, bringing new energies stimulating the whole italian alternative scene to rise again and making the main stream's organizations to have a certain care about what's before was only treated as cheap under cultures.
Actually Piero is touring with Neon, preparing a new album and dj'ng in Moonlight Parties in several clubs and ciities, also organizing the 3rd edition of Moonlight Festival.
