Phillip Glyn

Born in SW Louisiana, I am the sole male with three sisters.



I was basketball player in my day and was looking forward to playing college ball. An accident on the court my junior year in high school ended that. I fractured a disc in my lower back that prevented any further dream of competitive basketball. I happened to look at my report card from high school and saw grades like c,c,c,c,A, Chorus and A, P.E. So I figured I should coach or sing. I'd been coaching little kids since I was in junior high so I earned a degree in education from McNeese State but the politics in education today didn't fit my vision, so I changed to music and been there ever since.



I've been in bands who've opened for some major acts from Hootie and the Blowfish to Marshall Tucker band and Eddie Money to name a few. More recently opened for Rodney Atkins and Highway 101 and Sammy Kershaw.

I have also shared the stage with Mark Chestnut and Bobby Kimball of ToTO



a close personal friend of the family.



I love making my fans happy with my music and the only things I care about more are my daughter, family and friends / fans they're the same.
