Full name: Phan Thi My Tam
Date of birth: January 16th.
Native hometown: Da Nang
Knowledge and culture: Graduated from a 4-year Intermediate level of Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory
My Tam left Da Nang, her native hometown, for Ho Chi Minh City to learn vocal music at the Intermediate level of Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory. Up to now, My Tam has got many achievements. As for this lovely singer, the most important award is the bronze medal in "Asian Music Festival" held in Shanghai at the end of 2000 when she worked in Music Center in Ho Chi Minh Sity. Since that year, My Tam has to overcome many challenges to be an "independent-professional singer". She also wanted to be a composer. She wrote the song "Love Forever" with helps from composer Nguyen Quang. In addition, "Dream Love", "First Kiss", ect. are successfully presented.
In the middle of 2001, My Tam had a great success thanks to the song "Toc Nau Moi Tram" which is the most impressive one for its composer.
The songs she has presented usually filled with deep meaning of love, life, youth, etc. That is why nowaday My Tam is one of the most favorite singers to millions of Vietnamese POP music fans.
So far, she has been recognized as one of the best singers in modern time. With her eight-tune high, six-tune wide (deep) and impressive voice, My Tam has been winning hearts of music listeners. However, as an old speaking, there's nothing easy in life. She had to endure and overcome as many troughs as getting to many peaks in her life. Yet, being creative as her characteristic, My Tam is still struggling to find the new and the good for her music. Hence, we loving My Tam still hope for a successful, pretty, friendly My Tam to reach higher, dedicate the most of her to us.
