Fresh from the storming top five success of Fedde Le Grand and Ida Corr's 'Let Me Think About It', Data Records continue their chart assault with the release of Peter Gelderblom's 'Waiting 4' on November 26th: a slice of exhilarating dance music, which has been tearing up the white isle this summer.

Starting life as a bootleg of the Red Hot Chilli Pepper's 'By The Way', the record immediately had the underground scene buzzing, as the likes of Judge Jules and David Guetta clamoured to get their hands on the track that had crowds chanting for it to be played (check YouTube for the evidence). Pete Tong, Dave Pearce & Judge Jules have all hammered it on Radio 1 leading to early daytime plays from both Jo Whiley & Scott Mills, and it has made its way onto the Radio 1 C list

Hype on the record is already at fever pitch around Europe with Peter now playing to festival crowds in excess of 100,000 people and 'Waiting 4' becoming a sing-a-long anthem. The instantly recognisable opening riff, the back of the net hitting bassline, the sing along vocal hook and the ever present strings which tie up the whole package. This is another Data nugget destined to become a dancefloor anthem, radio mainstay and video classic over the coming months.

As usual Data have put together a bundle with a little something for everyone with remixes from chart botherers Hi_Tack, who provide two club mixes as well as the Radio Edit, adding an electro edge on their MOS Club Mix. Eighties synths are the order of the day on Filthy Rich's mix, while German knob twiddler Thomas Gold chops up the riff, adding claps, beats and bleeps in all the right places to take things firmly into peak-time territory. Denis Christopher takes a more traditional 4x4 approach, where the keys take centre stage, before Genix round things off with his multi-influenced and slightly darker take on things.

Peter started his DJ career at the tender age of 14, moving on over the years to tie down residencies at some of the biggest clubs in his native Rotterdam. Work as a record store owner, label manager and, latterly, an in demand remixer followed, mixing (quite literally) in the same circles as Laidback Luke, Fedde Le Grand, Rene Amez, Steve Angello and Eric Prydz. Having played all over the world including a residency at the infamous Space in Ibiza, Gelderblom is set to be the next to make the crossover from underground sensation, to household favourite.
