The band just released their third album called "The Grand Voyage" with the highly appreciated rock producer Ola Sonmark. Who have made a huge amount of records with Swedish rock bands for the last two decades.
The bands vision with their recordings is to get a live-feel on the songs. Therefore they record almost everything completely live in the studio. What you hear on these songs is how Perry and The Travellers really sound. No bullshit overdubs, no polishing, just pure rock and roll.
So far the band has made about 300 shows in 7 different countries.

The story of Perry and The Travellers goes all the way back to mid nineties. The members of the band grew up on an island in a great lake in Sweden. In their teen years, they all played in different bands that happened to rehearse in the same studio. But it would take quite a few years for them to get together and form the band Perry and The Travellers.
Coming from different musical backgrounds, all members had very different influences from music. But they did share a love for rock music from the 70's. Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Bob Seger were some of the common taste in music these five young men shared. And to be honest, there weren't a
lot of musicians on the small island where they lived, so they didn't have much of a choice but to play with each other
2006 was the year when Perry and The Travellers first CD Hard Lovin' was released on HGM Records. Packed with screaming
electric guitars backed up by a well-synched rhythm section, this was a great success for the band, and also the record label. The album was backed up with touring in Sweden, Norway,
Germany, Holland, Belgium and Switzerland.
This was followed up by quite a hard time for the band. Still in their early twenties, there were alot of different options to chose upon, and lots of business that the band perhaps wasn't mature enough to handle. Therefore it would take three years for the band to follow up to their debut album. But the bandwas about to rise out of the ashes like Phoenix.
The second album Other side of the bridge‚(which title refers to the bridge to their home island) was released in June 2009. This time Perry and The Travellers chose to do the release by themselves on their own record label Knuckleville Records. The album got great reviews in Swedish media. The greatest music paper in Sweden, Sweden Rock Magazine, rated
the record 8 out of 10 stars. The release was followed up by about 60 shows on clubs and festivals in Sweden and the rest of Scandinavia.
More About Perry and The Travellers

in spring 2010, the band embarked on their first U.S. tour. They played New York and then mainly the southern regions of the country and also did a great gig on the SXSW-festival in Austin. After this experience the band really want to go back to the U.S. since this is the country were most of their influences comes from.
Peace on the journey through life!
