1994 michale on drums. mickey on guitar. the duo begin to rock out.



1995 penguin's first 5-song cassette demo recorded on a karaoke machine.



1996 first 9-song demo recorded on four-track. duo becomes trio; bass.



1997 third four-track demo is full length at 12 songs. some backyard shows.



1998 trio becomes quartet; new drummer. michale switches to guitar. many shows played; backyards & music stores.



1999 first eight-track album begin. more shows. drummer & bassist quit.



2000 original duo focus ing eight-track album. plays few shows with temps.



2001 eight-track album completed. never released (to this day). duo becomes trio again; drums. michale back on guitar.



2002 lots of shows at bars.



2003 first studio tracks. more songs. more shows. trio becomes quartet.



2004 although only a few shows, we played the biggest one ever at the biggest venue ever. drummer quits. down to three again. ten year anniversary!



2005 back to original duo once again. we lose all our equipment to a flood. what a shitty year.



2006 back in action as the old-school duo ala 12 years ago. nothing can stop this rock band, not even the fiercest forces of nature. back with a vengeance as we went on a three-week USA tour with The Frauds!



2007 spent almost the entire year working on the new record.



2008 good things are to come.



in short, we're a two-man explosion with the intensity of a six-piece. our songs don't sound the same. and until you've experienced our antics cranked to 11, you haven't experienced old-school indie rock.
