Paul Bunyun & Derez, the dynamic hiphop/r&b duo are probably the most underated and undiscovered super talents in the industry. Paul Bunyun hails from Bear Creek NC but his family originally came down from New York, Bunyun is no southerner however, His flow is so north you might just mistake him for Jadakiss or Stylez P, His style so unique and rhymes so smoothe, every track compells you to hit the rewind or playback button, Derez White comes from a christian background, raised mostly in High point, NC, Derez is Bunyun's first cousin and makes up the Vocal RNB aspect of the duo, Derez is incredible on the M.i.C. reminds you of a mixture of Carl thomas and jaheim, raspy yet crispy Vocals that will pleasent any listener's ear! The two hit the scene in 2005 with the help of Producer E. Smitty, They released thier first independent album, "Destined to be" which featured tracks from the dynamic duo and guest stars, OMNI, emlo, and E. Smitty himself. The album sold over 2,000 copies in its first week and continues to sell on ITUNES, napster, rhapsody and many other popular MP3 vendors. Much anticipation has followed Paul Bunyun with his upcoming release "The Reason Im Here" another complete Smitty Production, produced by E. Smitty himself, guestaring, 90years, Derez and E. Smitty. The first single set to release is called "Bright Life" noted to be an instant classic with the ability to compete with today's mainstream market.
