Already somewhat a veteran of the acoustic music world, Paul Liddell has released two solo albums and an EP, as well as an EP with his band ‘Delphians’. His second album ‘A Lighthouse Keeper’s Diary’ was released on his own label ‘Regulus Music’.

Over the years he has been courted by many record labels including RCA and EMI, but has remained independent and unsigned throughout. He feels working independently gives an artist great freedom and control over their music, and that a DIY approach is a much healthy way to grow and expand an artist’s music.

Paul is a talented and experienced live performer, who between tours averages about 10-12 shows a month. His raw and unpretentious delivery combined with the use of live sampling*, guitar percussion and layered vocal harmonies provide a great platform for his wonderful songs to shine.

As well as touring UK venues in ’06, ’07 and ’08, he has also toured in America, whipping up a storm in several venues across California. While he was there he performed on a TV show (filmed in Time Warner studios in Hollywood) and his song ‘Brighter Lights’ was used on a nationally distributed folk compilation.

Along the way, Paul has also shared billing with many high profile artist including Florence And The Machine, Roses Kings Castles, Beth Rowley, Nerina Pallot, Amy Wadge, Karine Polwart, Polly Paulusma, Kathryn Tickell, Nick Harper, Miles Hunt (The Wonder Stuff) and Billy Bragg to name but a few.

The ‘Touched By Time And Progress’ EP, Paul’s most assured set of songs to date, was released digitally in Summer 2008, and Paul's new five track EP, 'Help Yourself Float' will be available on in collaboration with 360 Degree Music on CD and as a digital release in January 2010.
