Pauline Kyllonen is a independent, performing singer/songwriter, recording artist based out of British Columbia, Canada. She is a member of Music BC, SOCAN, (Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada), CARAS, BCCMA and CCMA (Canadian Country Music Association).
In 2008, Pauline self-released her debut EP with the assistance of the Music BC (MAP Program).
In 2005, Pauline entered one of her first song compositions; Rainbow Caf into the Music BC (MAP Program). It was this song that managed to win her 3 days of studio recording time at The Factory Studios in Vancouver, BC. In April 2008, she was finally able to go to Vancouver and record and produce her debut CD. The CD was officially released in June 2008.
Pauline was very fortunate to be able to hire and work with some of Canada's music "best" on her recent CD project. They include: John Maclean and Sheldon Zaharko of The Factory Studios, Pat Steward on drums (The New Odds, Bryan Adams, Matt Good.), Shaun Verreault on electric guitar (solo performer, Wide Mouth Mason), Doug Elliot on bass (The New Odds) and Tyson Naylor on keyboards.
Since the release, Pauline has been extremely busy self-marketing and promoting her CD extensively via the internet; through community, college and online radio stations and live performances. She also hired RadiodirectX to market her CD to community and college radio nationally and internationally. Through these marketing efforts, Pauline's CD has received some critical attention, along with radio airplay worldwide.
Pauline's most recent performances include the 2009 and 2010 Vancouver Island Music Business Conference and Merritt Mountain Music Festival. Pauline has also been featured Canada-wide on the Chevy Cross Canada Countdown with Casey Clarke on CMT (Canada).
"Pauline's melancholy sounds bring Chris Isaak to mind, and they are the kind of tunes to listen to when sipping a cold beer or glass of white wine, most certainly on a balcony somewhere, alone, to immerse yourself in the images and emotions her songs conjure up."

"It's only a short EP, 4 songs, but this is one of those releases where a listener can discover a great deal. Kyllonen has a warm and intimate honey-smooth voice and sings with a melting ease. Even when she's rocking out in "Unlucky", there are no shrill bits; it all seems so effortless."
