Paul Danial is a multi-genre studio and live sessionist. He began his love for guitar at the tender age of 6. It’s little wonder that his playing styles naturally evolves around Blues, Rock, Standards, Country, Funk and Metal. He has done studio session guitar for artist from Mongolia, Taiwan, China, Indonesia, Singapore and even Japan. Paul has also been invited to perform for his artist, based in Mongolia, several times now.
Mosaic 2009 featured ‘Paul Does Funk’, an experimental jazz funk outfit with Jordan Cheng on drums, Wendy Phua and Miqael Das on bass guitars, yes 2 bass players! He also sessioned 2 shows for ‘papa rock’ Ramli Sarip in KL 2009 alongside a star studded lineup in april and june 2009.
He has conducted guitar workshops for Rhythm n Groove Music Nature Camp 07/08, alongside great players like Paul Ponnudorai, Man Kidal, Yance Manusama, Barry Likumawa, Glen Dauna, Din Safari, Zahid Ahmad, Yazid Search. He just did guitar instructor duties @ Rhythm n Groove Music Nature Camp Indonesia (camp 5), that featured bass God, Victor Wooten and legendary Indonesian Trombonist Benny Likumawa in october 2009.
Paul gigs with his band, Ministry of Rock. They perform at Singapore’s one and only, House of Rock pub. The band has an EP out, titled, Let's Rock! Paul will begin recording his much awaited instrumental EP in may 2010. Currently, he is directly endorsed to Tesla Pickups, ToneDrive strings and is an ambassador for Swing Guitar Technology.
