I am Miss Paula and life has been really good to me.I guess I have made some great choices! I have always been involved in the arts, attended an Arts High School, then graduated from a University with a Bachelors in the Arts and have been spending much of my life loving the fact that I can songwrite, vocal arrange and produce and sing. I have never sang a song that I didn't write! NEVER! I do my own melodies and backgrounds.I'm a beast with this music



My life is built around music and it was through my love for music that I began meeting different people from different backgrounds, all reaching for their dreams. So, in 2005 I produced a calendar called MISS PAULA CANDY FLAVA CALENDAR. The calendar was a marketing tool that I use to get people to listen to my music. That was the birth of Candy Flavasthat was the beginning of, what will ultimately, change my life forever.



Today, Candy Flavas is about to launch a new, fresh, sexxxxyyyy line of products, clothing and events! We are going to dominate the industry of music, entertainment, news and clothing, promoting healthy and positive images, celebrating the diversity in life! My business partner Tyra is my rock and not only in business but in music as she helps with the vocal arrangments on many of the songs that I write.



As a songwriter/ singer, I have worked with close friend, Janet Sewell (wrote Fantasia's When I See you check her out, she's on my top), my producer Kevin "Kyze" Ravanell (music producer to NORE, BUSTA, JADAKISS.also on my top), TY Fyffe (produced "Straight To The Bank" for 50 Cent), Midi Mafia (produced "21 questions" for 50 Cent) and others.I have had my songs featured on DJ Kay Slay and Envy.people look at you like "well why are you still in the hood if you did all that".Realizing that most people have never worked towards accomplishing anything other than sitting on crates in front of liquor stores, I tell them "it's a long road to the top, you have to be dedicated to your dreams and have faith that each one of those people was an opportunity that drives you closer to your purpose". I'm good.though I have much more to accomplish, I have been in places that most people have never been.and I am grateful for those small openings.



Beyond all of that, I am just happy to be here with a strong team of smart, positive females and ambition & drive through the ceiling! I am happy that I have talent and skills that make others happy- music has changed my direction and showed me that GOD is amazing.Thank you God
