Born Patricia McPherson in Toronto, Canada, Patricia grew up in a free spirited, loving and musically influenced family. In the 70's and 80's Patricia's mother used to host "West Indian parties" playing the best in Reggae, RnB and Oldies. On regular days, the sounds of Gregory Issacs, Shirley Murdock, Janet Jackson, Sade, & New Edition filled the home.



At an early age, Patricia was a part of almost every extra curricular activity – dancing, singing, volunteering, and track and field winning numerous awards and prizes for her skills. Being the Scarborough Champion for the 100 meters in her age group was not only a title she could claim, but it was something Patricia strived for. “Patricia used to love WINNING,” says her mother. “If Patricia didn’t win, she was upset. She craved it.” It was in elementary school where Patricia also found a love for music and acting. Being cast as the lead in many school plays, Patricia remembers having to remember lines in grade 4. She also became involved in various groups and organizations that worked with the mentally and physically challenged. It would be these extroverted activities that have assisted her in pursuing her singing career.



Voice training with veteran vocalist Denise Williams, has brought many opportunities such as opening for Citizen Kane in 1999, a part in the musical “I Decide”, a spot as a performer in the highly acclaimed ‘Honey Jam’ Show in 2000 and countless open mics and talent shows across Toronto. Writing lyrics from her experiences and the different walks of life around her, has allowed Patricia to create a demo which was sent to major industry players such as The Damon Dash Group and both Canadian and UK Record Labels which have offered extremely positive feedback.



Currently Patricia is in the studio working on a debut album. Because her signature style is so different, hands on learning is a must for Patricia. “It has been an amazing experience and I am learning so much. These guys are really allowing me to take my sound and make it everything that it is and more!” There’s no turning back for Patricia, she’s almost at the finish line.
