The band started with the goal of learning Monkees covers and eventually getting a cease and decist letter from Pat Boone himself being able to contest it legally as satire (i.e. Hustler and Jerry Fallwell). Almost three years have gone by since our inception. Since then we've recorded a bunch, finally put something out on vinyl, and several thousand miles on the Champagne Supervanya (or The Golden Vanning if you prefer). We write songs that we like that are in explicit homage to certain eras (think mid 60s to early 70s) with the misfortune of living through the 80s and 90s and call it "garage pop." We hope that you put our record on your turntable or come out and dance around and yell during our set. You know we'd do it for you. Performing "By Thee Telephone" at Mojo's on 1-8-10. Gracious thanks to Huck!
