Talented, ambitious, dedicated, and even more of a hard worker are words best used to describe Grady Memorial Hospital's very own, Derrick C. Boone. Derrick was born on February 16/1984 and was mostly raised in Decatur, Ga. Derrick( better known as Versa) has been blessed with many talents. With his loyalty to God, he utilizes these talents to the best of his ability. Mr. Versa discovered he was musically inclined at the age of thirteen. Since then he has been working hard to perfect his skills. He feels his distinctive sound, and amazing southern eastside flow will be a huge contribute to the music industry. Versatile has been working hard for the past year and a half doing what he loves the best, music. He has come out with two mix tapes, 2 Real 4 Yah Ears Volumes 1 and 2. He has also come out with a mix tape (Dealing from the Bottom of the Deck) which featured his very own songs; Leanin, Bounce, Who you Know, etc. His song Striptease has been in rotation at Strokers and the new single Turn it Over was featured on a Silk the Shocker DVD. Versa has opened up for artiast such as Shop Boys and Montana the Mac. Not to mention he has performed at the following clubs.Blue Flame, Strokers, Club Crucial, The Atrium, Da Bomb, Pool Palace, Body Tap, and Dugans. His fourth mix tape will be dropping very soon, as well as a DVD. He is currently working with artist/songwriter E. Miles of Song Book. He is also working with Peso, a new artist signed to Universal records and J Money of Konvict Music. With so much to offer Versatile continues to grind and looks forward to working with up coming artist, as well as veterans in the industry.
