Parisse is an italian-canadian singer and songwriter.
She's conceived and recorded her debut solo project, "Vagabond" between Canada, UK and Italy, with producer Steve Galante (Andrea Bocelli, Randy Crawford, Gino Vannelli, Dee Dee Bridgewater among many others), a long time friend and collaborator. She co-wrote and co-produced all the tracks.
Renowned guitar session player and producer Phil Palmer (Dire Straits, Eric Clapton, George Michael, Robbie Williams) and sound engineer Mazen Murad (Duffy, Mika, Skunk Anansie, Bjork, Robbie Williams) also gave their precious contribution to the album.
" Feel Like Runnin' ", the first single from the album, has had a great airpaly on major italian radio stations, and incredibly topped the radio charts in Brazil, including the prestigious "As 100 Mais – O melhor do Mundo" on "Antena 1". A remix of the song is also included in the "Hit Mania Club Dance Vol. 15" dance compilation.
The following single " That's The Way It Goes ", has confirmed and overcome the success of the first one, and in just two days from its release went in the official Top 100 most played songs by the major italian networks.
Thanks to these extremely positive results, achieved with a totally independend management, her debut album, "Vagabond", captured the atention of Sony Music that will distribute it from Sept 27th in Italy.
In her songs you'll find Parisse's view about the power of love, with all its lights and shadows.
"Vagabond" moves around a pop sound, close to the Motown colors and to a neo-soul vibe,
and mixing and matching in a very personal way somewhat distant music worlds.
As a lyricist, Parisse has collaborated with Filippa Giordano (on the album "Primadonna", Gold Record released in Japan and South America, and in the recent "Capriccio", released in Mexico with Sony/BMG) .
