Parachute Festival

Parachute Music was born in 1989 to connect people with Jesus via music.



20 years on, the organisation now runs one of the largest music festivals in the Southern Hemisphere. Parachute Festival has a regular attendance of 25,000, and the four-day event sees Hamilton's Mystery Creek Events Centre pack out with thousands of people tenting and enjoying a range of musical styles across our 6 stages. From hip hop to alt-country, we have everything on offer under that hot Hamilton sun, plus a water slide, paint ball, a shopping village and much much more.



Parachute Music also runs a series of training events for musicians called Noise. These workshops are held throughout the nation to inspire and upskill Christian musicians working in both the mainstream and secular spheres. On top of that, we run Parachute Studio, Parachute Band, Parachute Records and Parachute Supporters - meaning there is never a dull moment in the organisation. We have three internationally touring artists signed to us, Parachute Band, Rapture Ruckus and Juliagrace and are working with more artists to give them Bookings & Management services.
