Paper Dragons are done. Sorry.

Our CD will still be coming out on Firestarter Records in the spring of 2008.

We were a punk rock band from Baltimore. We formed for the following reasons: Dan hadn't been in an active band in a while, and had all of the sudden gotten anxious to write songs and play shows. The Spark was in the process of breaking up, so Mike and Kristin needed something new to do. Alex was back from Iowa and wasn't drumming in any bands, so we snatched him up. So the band was formed, and the songs were written and practiced. What came out is an amalgamation of the influences on our lives standing under the umbrella of punk.

Alex eventually left to focus on Pulling Teeth, and Darick, former Spark drummer, entered the picture. This was our main line up and the one we got to play our best shows with, including Insubordination Fest 2007, and the line up that recorded the CD.

demo review from hanginghex.com:

Members of Bad Business and The Spark have combined forces to create some music that is a little unlikely for all parties involved. It's still punk as fuck, but a bit more refined than their previous efforts. Utilizing cleaner guitar tones they manage to still be pretty crazy without resorting to almost mandatory heaviness for a genre that has grown too accustomed to it. The first and last song go by pretty quick but it's the middle song of the three here, "Pictures Of Drummers", that is the most 'mature' of them. as well as my favorite. It almost has a Hot Snakes-meets- Fucked Up (the main riff is really reminiscent of "David Comes To Life" off the new record) vibe to it, which is unusual, but welcome. I know this is just the start for this band and they're probably just sorting out their sound, but so far it's pretty cool.
