Formed around June 2005, P.O.W. with a fast hardcore/Street punk Sound. P.O.W. started out with origanal members Brent Menace , Brian Misled and Mikey. The band at this point was called "The Miscreants".We've gone through many band names such as The Misled Youth, The Miscreants, Blown to Bits and The Defiled (& were known as The Transformers by other local bands) before becoming P.O.W. it represented our music so we stuck with it.

Around March 2006 we recorded our demo, the Panic Demo 2006, and shortly after Mikey was replaced by current drummer Josey (from F.A.T.S.). Midway through the summer, P.O.W. recruited Javier Disgust as rhythm guitar. A few months later we realesed the Gangs of Hate E.P. and played gigs all over Southern Cali , the A.V. and some in Hollywood.In 2008 Bassist Misled left the A.V.,But still is a great part of P.O.W.

Since then, we recruited our good friend Jaimme for bass(she only played one gig, but it was tight)but we figured that she would be preoccupied with her other band 40oz love(Javi's and Josey's Ska band theys were in).Then that fool Alan showed up again and we decided to give him a shot

as for now were workin on gettin more gigs helpin the Punk scene

with our music.Which basically says

Fuck Racism,Regulation,Discrimination and WAR! Its all about Peace,Equality,Autonomy and bein proud of who you are.Exercise your right to be FREE and fuck those who try to prevent you from being who you want to be. Oppression is an asshole, so shove your boot up it

IF YOUR SCENE SUCKS, YOU SUCK.DONT MAKE PUNK A TREND.YOUR DIED HAIR, PATCHES AND BOOTS WILL NOT GIVE YOU THE FREEDOM WE DESERVE.THE MINORITIES WORDS DONT MEAN SHIT TO THESE GOVERNMENTS.DONT REMAIN THE DIRT ON CAPITALISMS SHOES, STAND UP AND TAKE ACTION FOR YOUR IDEOLOGIES AND OUR FUTURE TODAY!!!
