Paloma Sound is an indie label that has branched off from HairBall8 Records. Though HairBall8 is well known for its secular psychobilly, ska, and punk artists such as Koffin Kats, The Peacocks, Skunk Allstars, and The Applicators, Paloma Sound will expose the world to something both similar and different from the aforementioned genres. We're talking about the underground life of Christian subculture, which is filled w/ the tattooed & the pierced, the metalcore & the hardcore, the psychobilly & the horror rock, the goth & the industrial, the punk rock & the ska, and the acoustic & the spoken word. All these scenes contain members who know or want to know Christ. The variety of music contained within the Paloma Sound catalog will share one common tie that binds: an uncompromising love for Jesus Christ. Each and every one of us on this earth is a sinner but there is hope because each and every one of us can be forgiven and saved by God through Jesus Christ. Only through Jesus Christ. Paloma Sound is the catalyst that will launch artists who are bringing a new vision of God's love and justice to a fallen world. We're talking about bands whose music is like a double-edged sword that pierces both soul and bone with a message of faith, hope, and salvation. The first bands that have signed onto Paloma Sound are Man of Sorrows and Our Corpse Destroyed. Both bands hail from San Antonio, TX.
One of the many goals of Paloma Sound is to set a higher standard for quality in Christian music, both in musicianship and in commitment to Christ.
We believe this label will be used by God as a breeding ground for true lovers of purity and Holiness. Paloma Sound wants to remind you that nobody is perfect including our label and our bands. We are all sinners. Only God is perfect. The rest of us need constant pruning. This is an uprise, a call to arms, a spiritual revolution, and a life affirmation through music.
