Born in San Diego, California, as Jesus Baudelio Montano. Padrino was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. The oldest of four boys and the son of two Mexican immigrants. Padrino learned early the value of hard work and respect. He learned how to fight for the American Dream and has taken that dream to heart, and made it come alive in his music.
Padrino wrote his first song at thirteen years old, and has not stopped since. His music has been featured on many albums in the last ten years including "Lake to the Bay" featuring Mac Dre, Baby Bash, and Hogg Boss and also "Guerrilleroz" an album released by Profeta Records, featuring Kid Frost and Knight Owl. In 2007 he toured with
Chingo Bling with the "They Can't Deport Us All" Tour, gaining recognition over the Midwest States. He has opened up for artist such as Bone Thugs in Harmony, Public Enemy, Chingo Bling, Jay Tee and more!!
Padrino's new CD, which is produced by Eliot Waldhorn of e5 Music, is nearing completion. The CD is uniquely Padrino, yet showcases the diversity that he is bringing to the rap game.
