About: Pablo "Pabanor" Ortiz (Virgo) Pabanor's career is scatter by landmark achievements with his many productions to becoming a well known DJ to his kind. From Remixing & Producing El General to David Hasselhoff, Pabanor remains grounded about his achievements and clearly loves playing and making music over the praise it brings. Born in Cuba and raised in New Jersey, Pabanor became a DJ at Emerson Highschool, he started playing at the age of 13, got discovered by a club owner and it took off from there. Resident at "Odyssey Teen Club", & New Jersey's "High Voltage Nightclub" he was also featured under the DJ name of "LazerMan" at the following Clubs where his career takes off as a DJ/Producer: "Next to The Park Café", "Stardust", "After Darks", "Garage", "Passion Night Club", "Club Casino", "U4RIA Night Club", "Seconds", "Thrills Night Club" in Tampa Bay , "The Beat Club" in Miami, "Club 21", "Foxes Night Club", "The Palace", "The Supper Club", "Visions" in Miami, & "Club Banana's" in Italy. In 1991 Pabanor, formed P.A.O, then later on became as know as Pabanor Productions. The label grew to such proportions that in to making his own DJ album to date & Featuring some of the Artist's on his label. Though known primarily for his pioneering contributions to the Latin House, hip-hop/reggaeton scene, Pabanor's style is now a mix of everything: progressive, trance, house, techno - it's the best of all that the dance world has to offer His productions, sets, and releases range from peak time club heaven to the sort of perfect Progressive House, Disco House & Electro session and have at times owed as much influence to high energy as to dance something to look forward in hearing in his long D.J. Sets. Continuing to explore fresh avenues, Pabanor is currently experimenting with new sounds in the studio, and writing more vocals himself. The future for Pabanor promises yet further success, both as the solo D.J Artist he's becoming and the Producer we know him to be since the early start at Double Platinum Productions what is known today as "Subliminal Records" Run By His Long Time Friend "Erick Morillo",. As Pabanor would say "It's hard to look too far into the future. Every couple of months it seems that something new, unexpected and exciting is happening!'" . Pabanor's wide experience in the musical, production and direction has made him a mentor of many artists' career, such as the famous Rap Artist "EL GENERAL," "VIC THE KID OF LOS SUCIOS" "UP 4 JOY" , "2 OF A KIND", "MANNY PACHECO" & "GRUPO SALSABOR." "ALQUIMIA", "MARCELO MOLINA", "FRAGANCIA" (from DLG) , "HEART & SOUL". "RO-K & GAMMY" His work has been featured in many remixes, and jingles like the MALTA INDIA commercial which took a strong promotional campaign in Puerto Rico and New York. Conducted sound operations and Music Director for L.T.V. Networks,/ Coca Cola Stage for ten years on Calle 8 Carnaval and still the Site Music Production Manager of the Coca Cola Stage, Tour of Emmanuel in 1988, "Noches Cubanas" Tour in the European Countries, Carnaval en Mendoza (Argentina) and Telethon de Costa Rica in Costar and in USA. Also, he teamed up with one of the legendary producers in the latin market as well as anglo, Jose Silva, (responsible for many productions such as, ABBA, Pointer Sisters, Lionel Ritchie, Chichi Peralta, and many well known artists) together they were the first who started the rise of "Champeta" which the roots of the rhythm came from Africa and developed in Cartegena,Colombia. "Champeta" was introduced in the United States as a new genre of latin music which later on was used to make a fusion with what we know today as "Reggaeton". He has also worked on projects for artists of international fame such as; "TEMPLE OF SOUL" (Clarence Clemons, Narada Michael Walden, TM Stevens, Vernon "Ice" Black) , Marc Anthony, Lucia Mendez, Laura Leon, Jose Jose, SHABBA RANKS, & DAVID HASSELHOFF. His educational background and experience in the artistic field extends through the phonographic industry where he has worked in several positions from promoter to executive producer likewise he has taken an active part in the realization of several shows, concerts, and international events. Pablo "Pabanor" Ortiz (Virgo) La carrera de Pabanor esta compuesta de varios logros con un sin numero de producciones hasta convertirse en un DJ reconocido en su genero. Desde remezclas realizadas hasta producciones de "El General" y David Hasselhoff, Pabanor se mantiene vigente con sus éxitos, innovando, tocando y haciendo música que es su mayor recompensa.
Nacido en Cuba y criado en Nueva Jersey, Pabanor se hizo DJ en la escuela secundaria Emerson, Empezó a tocar a la edad de los trece años, fue descubierto por un empresario de clubes nocturnos y desde hay empezó su trayectoria. Residente del "Odyssey Teen Club", y de el club "High Voltage Nightclub" de Nueva Jersey donde era también conocido con el nombre de "DJ LazerMan" fue donde su carrera profesional se da inicio como DJ/Productor tocando en varios clubes como: "Next to The Park Café", "Stardust", "After Darks", "Garage", "Passion Night Club", "Club Casino", "U4RIA Night Club", "Seconds", "Thrills Night Club" in Tampa Bay , "The Beat Club" in Miami, "Club 21", "Foxes Night Club", "The Palace", "The Supper Club", "Visions" in Miami, "Club Banana's" in Italy, "Nocturnal". El sello creció a tantas proporciones que logro componer y producir su propio álbum como DJ hasta la fecha e incluir varios de sus artistas en su sello discográfico. Aunque inicialmente conocido por sus contribuciones pioneras en la escena del Latin House, hip-hop/reggaeton, el estilo de Pabanor es ahora una mezcla de todo: progressive, trance, house, techno – es todo lo mejor que el mundo de la música dance puede ofrecer. Sus producciones abarcan desde peak time "la hora pico en el club" hasta Progressive House, sesiones de Disco House, Electro y Tribal las cuales tienen tanta influencia hacia una energía de alto nivel en sus propias producciones como también en sus sesiones como DJ de larga duración en los clubes.
El continua explorando nuevas alternativas y en el momento experimenta con nuevos sonidos en el estudio y escribiendo mas temas. El futuro para Pabanor promete ya éxitos seguros, ya sea como DJ Solo el cual ya ha logrado o como el productor que conocemos desde sus inicios en "Double Platinum Productions" conocida hoy como "Subliminal Records" liderada hoy por su amigo eterno "DJ Erick Morillo". Como Pabanor diría "Es difícil mirar al futuro"; Cada mes parece que algo nuevo, inesperado y excitante sucede en esta industria!"……………. La gran experiencia que tiene en la música, producción y dirección lo ha llevado a ser un mentor y guía en la carrera de muchos artistas reconocidos como, "EL GENERAL", "VIC THE KID DE LOS SUCIOS", "UP 4 JOY", "2 OF A KIND", "MANNY PACHECO" Y "GRUPO SALSABOR," "ALQUIMIA", "MARCELO MOLINA", "FRAGANCIA" (de DLG) , "HEART & SOUL", "RO-K Y GAMMY". Condujo operaciones de sonido y Director Musical para L.T.V. Networks/Escenario de Coca Cola por diez años en el carnaval Calle 8 y Jefe de Producción Musical del escenario de Coca Cola, Gira de Emmanuel en 1988, Gira "Noches Cubanas" en países europeos, Carnaval en Mendoza (Argentina) y Teletón de Costa Rica. También se ha unido con productores legendarios como José Silva (en el mercado latino axial como el norte americano quien fuera responsable por producciones ABBA, Pointer Sisters, Lionel Richie, Chichi Peralta, y muchos mas) juntos fueron los primeros que empezaron con el surgimiento de "La Champeta", ritmo de origen Africano y desarrollado en Cartagena Colombia. "Champeta" fue introducido en los Estados Unidos como un nuevo genero en la música latina el cual posteriormente fue hecho fusión con lo que se conoce hoy como "Reggaeton". El también ha trabajado en proyectos para artistas internacionales como; "TEMPLE OF SOUL" (Clarence Clemons, Narada Michael Walden, TM Stevens, Vernon "Ice" Black), Marc Anthony, Lucia Méndez, Laura León, José José, SHABBA RANKS, y DAVID HASSELHOFF. Su trayectoria y experiencia se extiende a través de la industria fonográfica donde ha trabajado en varias posiciones desde promotor a productor ejecutivo donde ha formado parte en realizaciones de varios conciertos y eventos internacionales. Sus pasatiempos son: Escribir música, bailar, cocinar, el cine, fotografía, videografía y la literatura futurista. Su primera frase es: Amo tocar mi música especialmente cuando hay una respuesta muy eufórica y animada por parte del público.
