O VICTORY

we against is no longer a band. in december of 2006 we played our last show and called it quits. a burden has been lifted though. we were continuing on with something that should have ended or progressed into something else. we against had such a rebellious and negative vibe to it. just the name itself sounded negative. but we are done with that. done with showing everybody what we are against instead of what we are for. now post we against, we are all seeking more positive and pleasing journeys individually.



we started we against in 2003 and evolved so much through the years. the music progressed, and members changed but we were refined and purified and will continue to be even after the band.



it is such a relief and a freeing feeling to be in the light constantly even while going through darkness. we all go through dark times but sometimes we let it take a hold of us. we become part of the darkness and just maintain some light. but we have managed to overcome it and remain in the light constantly. we have overcome it only through grace. please read this:



1 Corinthians 15:55-57



"Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.



some of you may have liked or identified with the negative and somewhat rebellious approach, but we just naturally matured past that. although we still fight against spiritual wickedness in high places daily, the victory is already ours! we have come to realize that.



here is some of what we are doing now; tasha is doing many things as always. she is co-owner of a graphic design and printing company with myself. it is called black betty designs. some of our clients include p.o.d., promotions crew, bullets over hollywood, and many others. tasha also co-owns a company that makes cakes. it is called sweet tooth bakery. you should check it out. her and i are also in the process of launching a clothing company called lovelorn clothing. i have mentioned some of what i am doing along with tasha. musically i am involved with a band called bullets over hollywood. riley also plays in the band with me. the band pretty much consumes all of riley and my time. we moved to new mexico for a couple of years and did the music thing out there. it was good. very good. tasha and i also have a child! frankie has moved on to a simpler life also. he is working and enjoying a life that is less hectic as far as recording and touring is going.
