He conjures what Music Connection Magazine declares “will win fans among anyone looking for music with a soul.”

After topping the charts of dozens of radio stations around the country, including claiming the 1 spot for months at a time at stations like San Marcos' KKSM (CMJ) and extensive national U.S. touring, Orris is home in Los Angeles, excited to be hard at work on new music as part of an all-new one-man rock opera (stay tuned for more info).

History:

Raised in Twin Peaks and Chicago, David Orris is the son of an ordained minister. By the age of four, he was singing and playing piano competitively and in his teen years went on to win a vocal and Presidential scholarship to the Wheaton Conservatory where he studied voice, piano and composition. During his studies, he ventured outside the traditional curriculum and delved into experimental exploration of sound, as well as a long-suppressed attraction to Eastern forms of meditation and spirituality.

Orris' spiritual and creative intentions have resulted in music reviewers including CMJ, L.A. Weekly, Music Connection and many more heralding Orris as an indie prodigy who “makes you believe you’re experiencing something big” and “intriguing and wholly unique."
