After long, bleak years, in which legends such as Running Wild, Helloween, Gamma Ray and Blind
Guardian have been holding the German flag of Melodic Power Metal, a new force has arisen to
follow in the original heroes footsteps in the shape of ORDEN OGAN.



The traditional roots of the bands sound are, of course, contemporary modern, effortlessly
avoiding cliche and are able to remain fresh and original. Symphonic keyboards melt into
grinding guitar riffs and bombastic choir
and orchestral arrangements creating an impressive wall of sound. Change is the way forward
and it drives ORDEN OGAN to perfect and to perfection.



It is difficult to label the bands classical yet progressive sound, (with a Scandinavian
touch), in any typical area of German metal.



On 22 Febuary 2008 Yonah Records released ORDEN OGAN'S Debut Album "Vale" allowing the band
reserve a place on the Fantasy Power Metal Scene's throne. Modern and traditional and the most
original in their class of what Germany has to offer lately.
Now ORDEN OGAN has signed to AFM records to share the rooster with bands like Doro,
Destruction, U.D.O., Edguy or Avantasia. The new record EASTON HOPE will be released worldwide
in January 2010.



Orden Ogan have burned down many stages and Festivals in Europe including Rock am Ring (Ger),
Rock Harz (Ger), Fun and Crust (Ger), Celtic Rock (Ger), Hoehlenrock (Ger), Metal Camp
(Slovenia) and Metal Healing Festival (Greece) to name some, along with artists such as
Metallica, In Flames, Doro, Subway to Sally, In Extremo, Testament, Clawfinger, Schandmaul,
Corvus Corax, Blaze, Axxis, Rage, Eisregen, Napalm Death and many more too numerous to
mention. Their 2004 Album "Testimonium" received an average of 9.5 to a full 10/10 points in
in all german Reviews!

Question: Who plays melodic, bombastic Heavy Metal as delicate, competent and diverse as
Savatage and Blind Guardian at their very best? Answer: Only very few bands of the
international scene. One of them – and Germany's best in my opinion – is Orden Ogan. I can't
think of many bands that can compare with Orden Ogan in the Bombast-metal-genre and are
equally tasteful.

"Vale" is cleverly arranged from beginning to end, technically mature and sounds – altough
generally more traditionally oriented – not at all clich�d. The mixture of Melodic-, Power-
and Prog Metal on the one hand and Folk and Classic on the other hand, combined with a little
swing into the gothic terrain is absolutely unique. In addition, the production is just
perfect: It sounds dynamic, without losing warmth and transparency.
