Ophelia Hope

Ophelia Hope is based in Bergen, Norway, and is comprised of a Norwegian singer, an Italian producer, an Australian songwriter and English percussionist. The music can best be described as acoustic, cinematic pop-noir, and has even been described by one journalist as sounding like “Burt Bacharach with a hangover” and another “three in the morning music with wafts of the 60s and pop jazz and melodies marinating in the soul”. With the dreamy vocal tones of Ingrid Ophelia leading the way, the production vision of Kings of Convenience producer Davide Bertolini keeping the soundscape fresh and honest, Ophelia Hope provides an elegant soundtrack to the existential crisis that songwriter Paul Holden just had to have.
