“How am I supposed to open this . open sesame?” After hearing this phrase in the movie Donnie Brasco (with mister Al Pacino of course!) the band Open Sesame was born. Five youngsters from the region of Roeselare, Belgium formed the band out of the ashes of 2 local bands.

Their music can be labelled as metalcore, but it’s much more than just this. They call it a mixture of melody, aggression and a shared passion for (loud) music. With their original riffs and unique melodies , the band separates itself from the others in the genre.

Open Sesame brings out that passion into their live performances. Their shows are always loud, hard, tight and most of all: full of energy!

In May '09 their debut-EP called “Through The Eyes Of Vengeance” was released. A 6-track outburst that takes the band to a higher musical level, with vocal challenges and more metal-oriented sounds. The metal sound is partly due to Svenchi, the bass player from Aborted, who recorded and produced the album. The album was mixed and mastered in CCR Studio (The Setup , Aborted, Crimson Falls , . ).

Open Sesame is a must-see band for all you people out there who haven't checked them out yet.
