Proton Ambassadors. Life lovers. Soul seekers. Vibe makers. Love takers. Pain breakers. God fearing. Steak searing.
Since coming on to the scene in 2004, Opencloud has pushed their unique sound as djs, producers, performers, label owners, and event throwers. Because of this dedication they continually wrap themselves in all forms of the music making process to grow as individuals and artists.
Opencloud is always working in varying soundscapes and different musical genres, which has given them the diversity and range in their music to do things that are not typical in the studio. Their sound is unique, and having worked with talented songwriters like Kirsty Hawkshaw, Cari Golden, and Rob Rowe, Opencloud has shown the demand for their forward thinking production style. Their releases have made them one of the top selling artists for Proton Music, and their remix work can be seen on labels like Fade, Nervous, Distinctive, and Emote.
With their extensive list of productions and remixes, it only made sense for Opencloud to start up their own record label, thus Proton Limited was created with Proton Radio founder Sam Packer. Since its inception in 2008, the label has been a great way for Opencloud to help define their musical vision, and bring to light great talent from all over the world.
Opencloud can be heard on their monthly Proton Radio show Open Up. Still one of the top rated shows on the station, Open Up helps showcase the music and artists that influence Opencloud's ever-evolving style. Their show also includes live sets performed at their Proton events thrown across North America. Whether they are headlining, opening, or doing an afterhours set, Opencloud's main focus on any performance is creating and protecting that vibe.
Opencloud is Corey Spengler and Blake Potter.
