On Wings of Wax has undergone an incredible transformation in 2009. With the addition of Sean Ryan, On Wings of Wax has become one of the favorites of the Tulsa music scene. Ryan complemented a group which consists of Deven Duke, Drew Hammons, Todd Ryan, and Chase Hammontree. To label this group as metal is being naive, labeling them at all is pointless. They blend several different styles of music with influences ranging from Tool and the Deftones to Emery and The Receiving End of Sirens. OWOW is hitting the road in 2009 with stops in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, and Kansas. Samples from their debut release due out in October 09 are available at www.onwingsofwax.com
