We are not from North Dakota. Neither of us have ever been there, nor do we know anyone who has been (that we are aware of*.) We're also not that big on one night stands, although this is a personal preference, and sexual promiscuity can be just as much an aspect of a healthy lifestyle as jogging.
We started playing together as ONSIND in August '06, but we've known each other for years. Our first official practice was in Michael Griffin's living room, although he didn't live there yet. Our first gig was December 31st '06/January 1st '07, at Ellis Leazes.
*Since starting this band we have met and got to know quite a few people who've been to North Dakota.



Discography:



This is our latest album. It has 10 songs (8 new ones plus 2 that you might already know). The songs are about hetero-normativity, sleeplessness, Dickensian social criticism and Hartlepool, as well as other stuff. Most of the songs are also about feeling heartbroken. Anyway, it's out now on Discount Horse Records (in the UK) and Plan-it-X Records (in the USA) and it costs £5/$5. It features some smashing artwork by Ryan Woods and Juan Gabe. It's also coming out on Tape soon too via 'Something Honest to Dance To'! Watch this space.
This is a split with Ghost Mice from the USA/France/Earth. It has 2 songs by us and 3 songs by Ghost Mice, so that's 5 songs altogether (for all those budding mathematicians out there). It's released by Discount Horse records, and you can order it from them.
