……. working for "World Brass" since 1998. Including arrangements of Ellington's Sacred Concerts, Far East Suite, Such Sweet Thunder Suite. Mozart's Don Giovanni (Jazz version), annual New Years Concerts at the Berlin Philharmonic Chamber Music Hall; and CD's- "By Ellington and Schostakowitsch" (2002 SFB,Perc.Pro) "Una Mas"(2009 WB).
2010, "The Game", commissioned by Worldbrass especially for the 2000 m2 space of Hangar 21 in Detmold, premiered in the "Concert in the Dark" series.
2009 Affiliate sound design and compositions for the performance groups "The Lunatics" (NL) and "The Shademakers" (GB).
2008 "Concerto for Chamber Orchestra & Jazz quintet" and "Babylon Talk" (Suite for Chamber Orchestra) conducted by Thomas Klug, commissioned by the Hochschule für Künste in Bremen, premiere at Sendesaal Bremen.
2007 Several commissions for small ensembles or soloists such as Jeroen Berwaerts and Canadian Brass (USA Tour 2007); "Das Blech" (CD Das Blech 2007); "Elbeblech" (CD So Gut Wie Bach, premiere Laeizhalle, Hamburg March 2010); Hermine Deurloo (NL) and the "BoSy Bones" (Trombone Section Bochum Philharmonic Orchestra featuring Ludwig Nuss).
Since 2006 Arranger in residence with the "Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen" including projects with Richard Galliano (F), Benjamin Schmid (A), Tsuumi (FIN) and conductors Alain Altinoglu (Orchestre National de France) and Alexander Mickelthwate (Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra) and Mihkel Kütson (GMD Sinfonieorchester Schleswig-Holstein).
2005 Ellington and Strings with Worldbrass & Hamburger Camerata , conducted by Claus Bantzer (Laeizhalle, Hamburg). Horn section arrangements for the blues album "Herzensbrecher" ("the best German Blues Album" … Blues New Magazine) with Dieter Kropp & The Fabulous Barbeque Boys and for the "Stax Projekt Band" (New York Label)
2004 "Far Cry" Concerto for Trombone an orchestra commissioned by Lazlo Pete and the Lübeck Chamber Orchestra. Arranger for a "Familienkonzert" commissioned by the Theater Orchestra in Lübeck including a jazz version of Mozart's Concerto for Clarinet in A Major, Conductor Frank Hube.
2001 "Life" a reverence jazz book commissioned by the German church organization EpiD for Brass choirs

Biography :
Born in 1967. He studied classical Trumpet from 1983-86 at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold (D) with Thomas Clamor, Hans Joachim Knoke and Max Sommerhalder. Studied Jazz Trumpet (Eduard Holnthaner, Steve Gut, Art Farmer) from 1986-92 at the Hochschule für Künste in Graz (A), graduated in 1992,
1992-94 at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in The Hague (NL) with Ack van Rooyen.
1994-96, masters degree at Western Washington University (USA), studying Comp./Arr. with Chuck Israels and Dr. Edward Rutschman and Trumpet with Willie Thomas.
Throughout the years he also has performed with Musicians like Art Farmer, Mark Murphy, Jimmy Owens, Mel Lewis, Clark Terry, Dusko Goykovic, Steve Gut, Kenny Wheeler, Lew Tabackin, Bobby Lamb, Douglas Sides, David Theak, Karl Ratzer and Ack van Rooyen. Festival appearances at Vienna Jazz Festival, Jazz Jamboree Warsaw, Nancy, Frankfurt, Regensburg, Gunther Schuller Festival Idaho and Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival Idaho. Also enjoyed touring through Europe with Shows like "Hair" and "Best of Broadway" or with the French Glenn Miller Memorial Big Band.
