They say introductions are probably the hardest thing to write. 1) for the simple fact that it's the GPS system for the
rest of your story, and 2) you almost never get a second chance for a first impression. Well. herein lies the dilemma.
I could sensationalize my experiences and relationship with hip hop, "walk the walk", and "talk the talk"and be who I'm
not, but to what end?or, I could take a little more time and effort to make a connection with you based on who I
really am.
I'll give the latter a shot and if it doesn't work.hell, I got two options
1) F*@k you or 2)Get a second first impression with a new name and a new page. LMAO!!!!
Anyways, I would be lying if I said that hip hop has always been a part of my life. As a matter of fact, growing up in
Nigeria, my choice of music due much in part to my parents' taste was country music.Jim Reeves.Kenny RogersEven
though I was exposed to some hip hop in boarding school, it wasn't until my return to the United States in the early 90's
that I became captivated and immersed myself into the culture. I take that all in stride as a part of my musical background,
and I move on now with the aspirations to make music that says something.to the heart, body and soul.music that I am
proud of. Roll with me on this
