My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts REMIX



Brian Eno & David Byrne's seminal LP "My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts" was recorded 25 years ago, and originally released in 1981. It was the first LP to really use "found sounds" as the core musical elements, so paved the way for producers like Hank Shocklee (Public Enemy) to use what were to become "samples" to make a revolutionary new style of music.



Eno & Byrne have taken a typically maverick approach to the website, and are allowing anyone to remix two of the tracks under a creative commons licence.



Visit the website to listen to the original tracks, watch previously unreleased visuals, read the fascinating story behind the LP and . download the multi-tracked versions of two of the original recordings to make your own audio and video remixes. You can then upload to the site and people can listen and rate your work.
