Formed in February of 2005, Of Raven & Ruins has established itself as one of this generations most promising metal acts. Their recent album release, Bound to Prophecy, will shape the future of melodic death metal in America for many years to come.
Originally the band was a three piece set, formed by Ben Del Castillo, Derek Booth, and Neal Gist. In 2006, Tyler Gist joined as a full time keyboardist, followed by Alex Bennett and Jonathan Gossett in the following year.
In 2009, Bound to Prophecy was be released. Expectations were met as the band made their mark on the metal genre forever. Following the release, OR&R plans to continue expanding their following and reaching out to metalheads around the world !
