Odins forest is a band of young musicians (16 & 17 yrs old) formed by Ken and Greg, the only two current original members, in winter 2003. However over the year they wanted a better line-up with members devoted and all for the music. So this came true in in late september/early october 2004. Soon found drummer Ryan, and with at first members in and out for the guitar spot they eventually found Zach to stick with them solid and gave this band the kick-start it needed to get going. After little less than a year in the band, once again Odins Forest had bad luck with guitarists. Zach left the band due to lack of interest, and Odins Forest now had Guitarist John Kampsta (from Dark Transfixion) as a session member until we found a full time guitarist. By the end of summer Odins Forest found Eric Kwiatek to join forces and add his gutiar work as a permanent member. With learning 3 songs in almost 2 days They knew they got the right guy. At the same time G. Reymond (Veneficum & Enforsaken) offered to play session bass until a permanent Bass player is found. After a few months Jeff was that permanent member. It was up until recently that both Eric and Jeff parted ways with Odins Forest due to personal differances. Now as the search of a guitarist and bassist goes on, the band is put on hold. With an excellent keyboardist that focuses on both intense key speed and overwhelming athmosphere, this is a band that anyone who loves keyboard drenched metal, to check out.
