Sorry. There is a bug on Firefox3 with the twitter badge (flash obj on the right column) that currently appears _huge_! It's ugly - yeah. But I'm working on it. It appears fine on Safari.

Recent updates!

Sorry for the slow update here.

I'm now more on Facebook. Find me with my full name.

Closing this weekend! "The ROOM" by o.blaat

@Medien Kultur Haus, Wels, Austria.

Thanks so much!!! to those who contributed sounds & texts!!

The opening was a wonderful success!!!

Now I'm back home in Brooklyn, struggling to finalize my long-stretched thesis paper. so please allow me to update the soundleak.org site:

soundleak.org/theroom

It's my first wp page. So, forgive me the ugliness of the layout. I'm working on it;)

Anyways, it will be the place where all the information will be updated re: TheROOM. So, please keep checking back!

If you're one of the contributors, you'll hear from me via email in early May (after my paper due.) Besides, all the contributors' soundfiles were already uploaded at archive.org!

About o.blaat

o.blaat was named after 'oblaat' - flavourless, melting, semi-transparant thin edible paper, exists only to melt and disappear. In Japan, it was used to wrap bitter medicine (esp. for children easy to swallow it), and candies (not to stick together in hot climate.) o.blaat creates environment and situations where sounds being heard, sounds for circumstances, sounds for bones and spines. o.blaat is curious to experiment one's relationship with sounds. o.blaat is personal, and love to create massive mess to disappear into.
