NOWMUSIK

NOW was formed as an instrumental trio in year 2000. The three members had earlier been part of several other constellations playing guitar based alternative music. With NOW they wanted to explore a more improvisational, live based, rythmic music. Working with only three instruments (drums, bass and guitar) they developed a sound that mixed a variety of genres, with few building blocks. Their sound contains elements of minimalistic grooves, kraut, funk, and jazz. The music of NOW is based on live performance and the sound and direction of the music is in constant flux. Since their start, NOW has performed on clubs and art galleries in Sweden and Germany and has a reputation of being an excellent live act.
