Novika

Vocalist, song writer and radio dj. Very active on the music scene for over 8 years. As a vocalist she's known for her numerous collaborations which were compiled on the album "Feat. Novika" (Sissy, 2004) and the band Futro. In 2006 Novika released her first vinyl - Finally EP through her own label Beats Friendly Records. It was recorded with very talented Polish producers including Jacek Sienkiewicz and The Innocent Sorcerers. Their track "Finally" was played by Gilles Peterson and appeared on several compilations including "The Trip" by Tom Middleton. Beats Friendly is also a dj-collective set up by Novika. They play together around Poland and release music (Friendly Beats Compilations, Rawski & Novika). In October 2006 Novika released her proper debut solo album entitled "TRICKS OF LIFE" (Kayax Label), followed by "Lovefinder" released this year!

Novika has also been a radio presenter for years. Starting from Radiostacja, through Jazz Radio, nation-wide Radio BIS, she now moved to Roxy.fm. She hosts Miastosfera with Lexus (Wednesday 9 pm) and Lazy Sunday (Sun, 9 pm).

She has also supported Polish artists through compilations ("Radio Leniwa Niedziela", Sissy 2002, "Polskie Leniwe", Kayax 2005).
