NORD

NORD was a Doom Metal/ Stoner Rock band from Newcastle upon Tyne in the north east of England, that was formed by singer and guitarist Oliver Rauer in 2005, and disbanded in 2010. In its five years of existence NORD underwent a few line-up changes, released 2 EP's and played countless very successful gigs around the UK, sharing stages with the likes of underground Doom legends Pagan Altar and up and coming acts such as The Lamp Of Thoth and Witchsorrow.
NORD were renowned for their incredibly fat and thunderous sound (which prompted complaints on more than one occasion) and quickly developed a die-hard underground following, which continues to grow.
