The original members of 047 (Soda;0, Salkin;4, Pricky;7) met under mysterious circumstances during the fall of 2001. Under even more mysterious circumstances their first album Wheel du fira hjul med mej? was compiled in little more than one month and released on December 19 2001. Four songs from this album were later played in the radio show Syntax Error on Swedish national radio P3.
The two following years consisted in making music and in June 2003 some of these songs were included in their very first original album Eller 047 som det blir p engelska. Finally 047 decided that they were ready for live shows, and their first gig took place 200 metres from Prickys house, at n0lan, Jrlandagrden. They used synthesizers and Game Boy on their performances; Soda and Pricky playing keyboards and Salkin controlling the Game Boy with the sequencer-program LSDJ.
In 2004, at a gig in Skvde – a group of ninjas(!) showed up, and they continued visiting 047 at their shows all over Sweden. The group called themselves Hokkaido, which is also the name of a song eventually made by 047 in 2006.
047 continued making music and performing live at various places in Sweden. During 2004 and 2005, timeless classics such as Ankan, Pingpong and Dragster 5k were composed. In the fall of 2005 they made a deal with Anders Christensson, who had recently formed the record label Killing Music. The first half of 2006 was very hectic for the guys in 047, and after the release of the album Robopop – Vi tar CD:n dit vi kommer in June and gigs in both Arvika and Emmaboda (two of Sweden’s biggest festivals), Salkin decided that he no longer wished to be a part of the group. Since then, there’s a gap in both biography and discography.
In 2009, Soda and Pricky decided to restart the band, and on X-mas eve they released the EP "General Error EP" for free on their web page www.047.se.
